​An evening of original short films made in Hawaiʻi with generative AI.

​This year's filmmakers were given one brief: a message that arrives from Hawaiʻi's future. A voicemail from 2040. A warning from a native species that outlived us. A broadcast from a Hawaiʻi that hasn't happened yet.

​Every film runs under four minutes, uses AI meaningfully, contains at least one element made by human hands, and includes the line "That is not how I remember it."

​Free and open to everyone — filmmakers, artists, students, educators, technologists, and the plain curious. Part of Honolulu Tech Week. ​Presented by the Hawaiʻi Center for AI.
