KOHO Creative Hub: Lunch & Learn Series: Cultural Placemaking & Purpose — The KOHO Origin Story and Finding Joy in the Work We Do

This summer, KOHO invites you to tap into our creative hub—bring your own bento or brown bag lunch and join us every Tuesday at noon for our LUNCH & LEARN Series.

These in‑person sessions in Japantown are crafted to spark reflection, conversation, and connection with like‑minded creatives, makers, and community builders. Stay after each workshop for a free day‑pass co‑working session at KOHO—your creative HQ for collaboration and flow.

August 12 - Cultural placemaking is the heartbeat of KOHO—a community-powered space born in San Francisco's Japantown to support artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural stewards. This session traces the origin of KOHO as a response to the need for accessible, meaningful space in a rapidly changing city, and how it has grown into a hub for creativity, resilience, and shared values.
