Nā Lei Hulu i ka Wēkiu presents “MĀHŪ: A Trans-Pacific Love Letter” screened as part of this year’s San Francisco Dance Film Festival! You are no doubt familiar with filmmaker Lisette Marie Flanary’s work by now, as she is part of Nā Lei Hulu and has created many works about hula & Hawaiian culture. This film follows the creation of our MĀHŪ show, and the incredible guest artists at its center.
