The third annual KOHO BonPop community Bon Odori festival to take place in August 2024 at the Celebration Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. BonPOP is a reimagined Obon Odori event welcoming a citywide and regional audience, the Japantown community as well as tourists and the general public to experience and immerse themselves in the long-standing Japanese tradition of honoring past ancestors through dance, song and rituals welcoming all regardless of religion, faith, ethnicity, and cultural beliefs.
