Mr. Coffman's book "Inclusion: How Hawaii Protected its Japanese Americans Mass Incarceration After World War II" provides an in depth understanding as to how Hawaii leaders rallied to keep Hawaii's Japanese American community from mass incarceration and demonstrate strong loyalty to the US after outbreak of war with Japan.
